Permethrin repels ticks and biting flies, mosquitoes and fleas. Imidacloprid paralyzes ticks so they can’t attach to the dog. They die within 48 hours. Chewing lice die within a week. Fleas are stopped from biting in just 3 to 5 minutes. Adults and larval fleas are killed within 12 hours, before more eggs can be laid. Ninety-eight to one hundred percent of fleas die within 12 hours.

It’s sold in packets with doses pre-measured for your dogs size. Spread the dogs hair at the shoulder blades applying the solution to the skin, not the hair. For dogs under 20 pounds, the entire contents should be squeezed onto the shoulder blades. For larger dogs apply to 3 or 4 spots down the back of the dog to the base of the tail. The dogs normal movement spreads the medication to the rest of it’s body for full protection. Wash hands thoroughly. It’s safe medication for dogs, not people.
